Interfaces and Gateaway
Besides the software solution, Axel produces also hardware modules for the conversion of CAN bus signal into the most common PC interfaces; as well as communication modules for RS422 / RS485 devices and gateways for connection between PROFIBUS and CAN networks.
In addition to the modules, Axel provides specific software for managing and interpret different protocols, fundamental in network development and testing.
CAN-USBX
Interface for communication, monitoring and diagnostic between a CAN network and a PC USB port

RS-USBX
Interface for communication between serial line RS422 / RS485 and a PC USB port, with support for connection in TTL mode
- Opto-isolated connection for every type of serial connection
- Included terminal resistance embedded
- 9-pole female connector
- Supported baudrate from 1200 bit/s up to 500 kbit/s
- Complete managing of all configuration parameters for serial connection (baudrate, line setting, full/half duplex)

CANDP-SX
Extremely versatile gateway module for the connection between PROFIBUS and CAN networks, with the possibility of managing four different operating modes:
- Profibus-DP slave CAN: the gateway is identified as a generic device in the CAN network; I/O are mapped as generic CAN message with ID, length and data programmable
- Profibus-DP slave CANOpen slave: gateway is identified as a slave node in the CANOpen network (managing functions and protocols of DS301 standard). I/O are mapped on Rx and Tx PDO
- Profibus-DP slave CANOpen master: gateway is identified as a master node in the CANOpen network (managing up to 24 slave nodes with functions and protocols of the DS301 standard). Profibus I/O are mapped on Rx and Tx PDO
- Profibus-DP slave CAN/CANOpen with PLC IEC 61131-3 integrated: allows to develop specific application for message managing
